Dr Tam predicts Omicron Variant’s cases will rapidly rise

In Ontario, COVID-19 cases have increased in two weeks, with 1,328 fresh cases registered today. several communities — notably Kingston, Ont. — have seen situations rapidly decline with hundreds of recent cases posted over the weekend, making case totals to the most elevated level seen since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.
