Doctors and researchers voice that Alcohol bottles must have a cancer sign label

Alcohol has been ranked as a Group 1 carcinogen (carcinogenic to humans) for decades by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).

It’s up there with tobacco and asbestos. Alcohol is also a foremost reason for preventable cancer after smoking and obesity.

But the extensive majority of Canadians have no concept of the danger.

Stockwell wants to change that, and he and other health specialists are advocating for cancer sign labels on alcohol receptacles. Individuals need to know, he says, that though other hereditary and lifestyle factors donate to developing cancer, every drink comes with a threat. “The danger from alcohol, it’s a dose-response. The larger and more frequent the dose, the higher your risk.” Source –
