The B.C. government states businesses impacted by the latest pandemic constraints and shutdowns will be suitable to apply for relief donations up to $10,000.

Minister of Jobs, Economic Recovery and Innovation Ravi Kahlon declared the region will start taking applications for the COVID-19 Closure Relief Grant in January.

The one-time grant funding is represented to aid businesses that were instructed to close down this week till Jan. 18, including gyms, fitness centres, bars, nightclubs and event outlets that can no longer have events.

Kahlon states budgets between $1,000 and $10,000 will be issued based on the number of workers per firm. They can be utilised to spend for salaries, rent, maintenance and utility expenses.
