Abbotsford walker in Hospital with injuries after being hit by a car

A car struck a walker in Abbotsford, police investigate further: 

An accident in Abbotsford on Saturday afternoon has left a pedestrian in hospital with lethal injuries. 

Cops say the accident occurred around 2 pm on the 2100 block of Riverside Road. The driver of the car stayed on the spot and has cooperated with their probe, they declared. 

Officials believe neither drugs nor alcohol was consumed. 

Meanwhile, the man hit by the car remains in a censorious situation after being flown by air ambulance to Vancouver hospital.

“He remains in serious, life-threatening condition,” stated Const. Paul Walker, a spokesperson for the Abbotsford Police Department. Source – cbc.ca

Walker explained cops attempted to piece together what happened and blocked Riverside Road to traffic as they probe. 

We’re looking at a variety of factors whether it’s the weather, speed,” he told CBC News. “I can tell you that drugs and alcohol have been ruled out.” Source – cbc.ca

Cops are questioning anyone who was travelling around the area with daschman footage to contact Abbotsford Police Department.
